What happens after I submit my order via your website?

Once you submit your order, a credit card authorization occurs for the full amount.  An authorization checks if your credit card is valid and that you have sufficient funds to complete the online transaction.  Assuming you have sufficient funds, the total amount of the online transaction is held and deducted from your credit card limit.  Even though the funds are held and deducted from your credit limit, the funds are not automatically transferred to us (the merchant) until we capture the funds.  Once we capture the funds they are then transferred into our merchant account. Typically we try to capture funds and ship your order within this 7 day window.  However, some pieces may take longer to produce and therefore may not ship for 2-3 weeks from date of order.


How long does a credit card authorization last?

The credit card authorization period can last up to 7 days in which we are able to issue a credit card capture to retrieve the funds from your account.  If the credit card authorization has not been captured within the 7 days the authorization becomes void.  The funds are no longer held from your account and are put back into your account.  The length of time it takes for the funds to be put back depends on your credit card issuing bank.


How long will it take to receive my order?

We make all of our pieces by hand in our studio in Los Angeles.  We do our best to turn orders around as quickly as possible, but some pieces can take up to 2-3 weeks to receive.  If you need something by a certain date or would like to expedite shipping, please make sure to put that in the comments section, or send us an email at direct@zoechicco.com.  We will always do our best to accommodate your requests and we appreciate your understanding and patience.


Is the full collection available online? 

We wish...However, our line is constantly growing and changing, so for now we can only offer the carefully selected items you see.

Are the pictures online to scale?

No.  We do our best to make them as close to their actual size as we can, but the pictures are not necessarily to scale. The descriptions include dimensions for the pieces. If you have any other questions regarding the size of a particular piece, please contact us at direct@zoechicco.com and we will be happy to answer your questions.


Can I replace a lost earring? 

Yes. If the style is in stock you may purchase a half pair. We make most of the pieces by hand and, as a result, certain styles can vary slightly in size. In some cases, we will ask you to send the mate to us (at your cost) so we can match it for you. A few styles are produced for one season only and may not be available at the time of the request.

Does the jewelry come with a box? 

Each order arrives in a custom Zoë Chicco gift box.   There are a few exceptions, however, as smaller items may arrive in a custom Zoë Chicco grey velvet pouch instead.  If you purchase multiple items, unless specified that each needs to arrive in a gift box, we may utilize a mix of boxes and/or pouches at our discretion, depending on the size of the items.  If you want to specify how your items are shipped, please enter your requests in the comments section at checkout.  Or you can email us at direct@zoechicco.com.

What is your privacy policy? 

We will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party. Any information we collect is used to provide you with a better shopping experience and to notify you via email of promotions and upcoming sales. If you would prefer not to receive these emails, you may opt out by changing your Email Notifications status. To do so, LOGIN to your account, go to MY ACCOUNT, click on "Subscribe or unsubscribe from newsletters" (under "Email Notifications"), uncheck the box and click UPDATE.

Is my transaction safe? 

All order information sent to zoechicco.com is encrypted. We protect your online transactions by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.

Is there a catalog I can receive by mail?

Our printed catalog is available to wholesale buyers only. Should you have questions about an item or need further information, please contact us at direct@zoechicco.com.  Retailers are welcome to fill out the wholesale request form linked in the contact page.

How do I care for my jewelry? 

Each piece of our jewelry is hand-crafted and therefore delicate. Please use appropriate care to enjoy our jewelry for a long time. The majority of our collections consist of 14k gold & sterling silver and can be cleaned with a polishing cloth or jewelry cleaner.  On sterling silver and gold filled pieces the metal may darken or tarnish with normal wear. We recommend gently wiping the metal surface with a polishing cloth. Most of the stones we use are natural gemstones, therefore they may vary in shape, size and color. Inclusions can be seen in natural stones and is a part of their beauty. Most gemstones do not stand the force of cleaning agents, polishing cloth or ultrasonic cleaners.


Can you ship to a P.O. Box? 

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to a P.O. Box as our preferred shipping method is via UPS and they do not deliver to P.O. box addresses.
