It’s starting to really feel like fall here in SoCal and while I am excited for the start of holiday season and the busy-ness it brings, I can’t help but feel a little overwhelmed by all the things I have to juggle! By no means do I think I am alone in this feeling and in reality, we somehow always find a way. Women are truly superheroes –workhorses, true jacks of all trades – and I am constantly in awe of the women in my personal life and not to mention, the public and political sphere. So for this month’s finding, I decided to feature a fellow go-getter, Grasie Mercedes, a super stylish force who wears many hats…and wears them well. She’s an actress, writer, producer and blogger hailing from NYC but living in sunny LA. She’s the co-writer and star of popular web series My White Boyfriend, and her dark comedy Egg Day (which she co-wrote, directed and starred opposite her real life husband) made its debut at the LA Shorts International Film Festival this past summer. Grasie is a modern day renaissance woman with an east coast edge meets cali-cool vibe and I am sure we’ll be seeing a lot more of Grasie both in front of and behind the camera! While most are drawn to a specific look (gemstones, pearls, classic gold) Grasie dove right in exploring all of our collections. She wasn't afraid to cherry-pick her favorites from each and the result was a bold, eclectic look that was entirely her own. Starting with our Baguette Diamond 5 Band Ring as the centerpiece, she built things out by adding a Large Oval Signet Ring. After mentioning she's very into pinky rings, I suggested adding a non-traditional one into the mix. Our Thin Pave Band and Pave and Pear Shaped Diamond Wide Flat Band Ring did the trick!

Grasie's approach to her necklaces was simple: Layers, layers and more layers! As with her rings, she scooped up her faves from each collection and seamlessly combined them. Being a New Yorker who's now living in LA, it's only natural she payed homage and started off with our NY and LA necklaces. From there she added in one of our newer cable chain necklaces, the Small Curb Chain Necklace with Princess Diamond and Pave Halo, for a little edge. It was then onto some serious diamonds! (Because who couldn't use more diamonds, right?) Our 5 Pear Diamond Fan Necklace and Large Bezel Set Diamond Cross provided the bling. Finally, our 5 Vertical Tiny Bars Station Necklaced completed the look by adding some simple gold texture.

During our try-on sesh Grasie confessed she wasn't much of an earring girl! Given her fearless style, that was quickly set aside as she experimented with a pretty daring asymmetric look. She settled on a Large Drop Circle Stud Charm Earrings in one ear and our diamond v ear climber in the other. Her willingness to mix and match was refreshing and I love when others can add their own interpretation to my designs!
