With the official start of summer just around the bend, now is the perfect time to start thinking about warm weather style, long weekends and fun in the sun. So for this month’s Finding, I tapped Los Angeles style expert Melissa Magsaysay to show us how to accessorize for the season (and beyond). Melissa may be a New York transplant but she’s flourished as a leading voice on the LA style scene. Currently, she spends her time working as Co-creator of The Hive, Director of Content for luxury brands, contributing writer for multiple publications plus she’s a wife, mama and a best-selling author to boot! Needless to say, when it comes to uncovering the latest and greatest offerings in fashion and lifestyle, Melissa is the authority. During her styling sesh, we shared wardrobe wins, our love of manicure massages and the necessity of having a ‘popped collar moment’ whenever possible. She has a passion for helping burgeoning brands find their voice and her talent for finding and highlighting the next best things in fashion and beauty. Melissa is a superwoman with a huge heart, an attitude of gratitude and, of course, insanely cool style…it’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it ALL! | photos by annie mcelwain |

Melissa showed up to our studio wearing an eclectic ring stack so we knew she'd likely gravitate towards our new, bold ring styles...and boy, did she ever! Like most people (me included), she was enamored with diamonds and she layered them on like a true connoisseur. On one hand she stacked our pave halo marquis signet and pave halo round signet (a match made in sparkle heaven) plus another fancy duo, featuring the graduated bezel diamond eternity ring and eight star set diamond band. One the other hand, she styled three different shape diamond solitaire rings - marquis, emerald and hexagon cut - and accented those with a French-set pave band. Let's just say, diamond rings are definitely her thing!

Even though she joked about having lots of "lobe-estate", she keeps it simple when it comes to her ear double-pierced ears. She liked the idea of mixing and matching to create slightly different looks on each ear. On one side she wore our 14k plain beaded huggie hoop, a large prong diamond stud and plain ear cuff. The other ear was embellished with our two diamond stud and diamond beaded hoop. Two looks that were beautiful, practical and refined...just like Melissa.

Melissa crushed hard on all our lockets but opted for a classic round star set silhouette on a long floating diamond chain as her longest layer. She was also drawn to our engravable padlock pieces, remarking that she "loves the size and the old English letter.” She wore two padlocks during her session: our 14k curb chain padlock necklace (engraved with a C for her husband) layered with the locket and then chose a padlock engraved with M (her and her son's initial) when creating her bespoke #ZCCharmstory. The other charms she selected with her family in mind as well: The sapphire is her son’s birthstone, evil eye for protection, three diamond charm for her family unit! It’s a winning combo!
