Having just celebrated my 13 year wedding anniversary, it got me thinking not only about that magical day in Jamaica but also the planning and DIY projects I did in the days, weeks, months leading up to it. I coordinated from afar given that it was a destination wedding BEFORE Pinterest and Instagram (eek!) and as they say, even the best laid plans can go awry. I had to adopt a go-with-the-flow attitude when the flowers and menu I had chosen were no longer an option but gathering my family and friends in paradise was a total dream come true – details be damned. If I were to plan a wedding today, the ladies behind 100 Layer Cake would be my gurus. For findings #4, I invited Jillian Clark, Amanda Dawbarn & Kristina Meltzer to my brand-new studio to get their take on styling ZC jewels for your big day and beyond, life with kiddos, wedding planning must-do's, second honeymoons and more! | photos by annie mcelwain |

Having Jillian, Amanda & Kristina in our brand new space was a total dream! They are the truest of friends, each with a their own take on design and style. Jillian dove straight in, honing in on our statement 5 Band Pointed Cuff, layering necklaces like our medium initial disc and starset diamond round locket and a versatile ear story she can put on and never take off! Kristina gravitated towards beautiful gemstone styles like our opal tear and baguette diamond necklace and our pear turquoise diamond ring. To accent her wedding ring, she chose a pave halo signet ring and multiple gold and mixed diamond bands to complete the look. Her ear game was the star of the show (she's our dream ear model with all those piercings and pretty lobes ;) She mixed our itty bitty pave tear stud and crescent moon, a tiny diamond and turquoise stud, a simple gold open hoop and a plain ear cuff to create this modern ear extravaganza. Amanda found the perfect blend of fancy yet functional styles that add a touch of glam to any outfit. She snagged our mixed diamond open cuff, marquise diamond wide cuff, and our itty bitty tear charm bracelet for her wrist. But her two faves mixed diamond wrap ring and our personalized circle monogram necklace. I am constantly inspired by these 3 creative forces and loved watching each put their own story together - each look is different and unique to the woman who chose it - exactly what ZC jewels are made to do!
